WEST HAM midfielder Scott Parker is confident victory in the team's next three fixtures can kickstart the club's season.
The Hammers will be bottom of the Premier League at Christmas and will have to defy history to beat the drop back into the Championship, as only one other team – West Brom – have achieved the feat before.
Manager Avram Grant has reportedly been told he must win one of the next two games, although Parker, his star player so far this season, believes maximum points can be taken from Fulham on Boxing Day and against Everton and Wolverhampton Wanderers, both at Upton Park, either side of New Year.
“We are going into an important period,” Parker told the Daily Mirror.
“We are not in the best of positions in the league but if we can pick up some points, it will help us a lot. Let's hope we can win some games.
“Things can turn around quickly. Every game for us this year is going to be massive for us.
“But there are some important games coming up in London and they are winnable games for us.
“So the quicker we can start winning games, the better, starting on Boxing Day.”
