EX-WEST Ham assistant manager Steve Clarke has joined Liverpool as Kenny Dalglish's number two.
The former Chelsea coach left his role with the Hammers when Gianfranco Zola departed the scene at the end of last season, and has been out of work since.
However, he will now work under Dalglish as Liverpool's first-team coach.
Reds legend Dalglish took the reins at Anfield last week after Roy Hodgson was sacked. His first game in charge was a 1-0 FA Cup third round defeat at fierce rivals Manchester United on Sunday.
