AVRAM Grant will stay on as West Ham manager, the club have confirmed.
A statement made on the Hammers' official website read: “The club are committed to retaining Avram Grant as manager and have identified potential transfer targets to give us the best possible chance of retaining Premier League status.”
It was rumoured that Martin O'Neill was being lined up by the club to succeed Grant after the 3-0 defeat by Arsenal on Saturday, but the Israeli will now remain at the helm, while being given the funds to strengthen the squad during the January transfer window.
