WEST HAM striker Carlton Cole has been fined £20,000 by the Football Association over comments made on Twitter following England's friendly draw with Ghana at Wembley last month.
In reference to the Ghana fans, Cole wrote: “Immigration has surrounded the Wembley premises. I knew it was a trap. Hahahaha.
“The only way to get out safely is to wear and England jersey and paint your face w/ the St. George's flag!”
He later deleted the comments, but was still charged with improper conduct.
