WEST HAM boss Avram Grant does not know whether Scott Parker will be fit for Sunday's crucial match against Manchester City at Eastlands.
Parker missed the defeat at home to Aston Villa and Saturday's loss at Chelsea with an Achilles injury, and Grant hopes he will have the Football Writers' Player of the Year available for this week's clash.
“I don't know about next Sunday, but he will definitely be fit for the week after,” said Grant. “I want him to play against City. I wanted him to play against Chelsea also, but it depends on his condition.
“You know with Parker if it's 50-50 he will always play, but he was not ready. I hope he will be ready soon.”
