West Ham are expected to make significant changes to their side for the Carling Cup tie at home to Aldershot Town tonight.
John Carew made his debut as a substitute in the draw with Leeds United on Sunday and the striker is in line for a first start this evening.
George McCartney is also in contention to make his first appearance since rejoining the club from Sunderland.
Hammers boss Sam Allardyce is likely to rest some of his first team and hand fringe players an opportunity against the League Two side.
Last year's semi-finalists could also bring in goalkeeper Ruud Boffin and Julien Faubert after the French winger impressed as a sub against Leeds.
