West Ham are understood to have made a £1.4m offer for MK Dons striker Sam Baldock.
The 22-year-old forward was watched by Hammers manager Sam Allardyce on Tuesday night during their 4-0 Carling Cup win over Norwich.
Baldock scored against the Canaries and he also netted a hat-trick, which Allardyce witnessed, in the League One leaders' 6-2 win over Chesterfield at the weekend.
