West Ham's offer for MK Dons striker Sam Baldock has reportedly been rejected.
Hammers manager Sam Allardyce has watched the 22-year-old twice in the last week during which he has netted four goals.
The Championship favourites were understood to have made an offer in the region of £1.4m but the League One leaders have turned this down.
Allardyce is keen to add another striker to his squad and it would be no surprise if the Irons came back in with another offer for Baldock before the transfer window closes.
