Dagenham & Redbridge have signed former West Ham United midfielder Ahmed Abdulla until the end of the season.
The 20-year-old was released by West Ham in January and Daggers boss John Still has decided to sign him for a two month period.
Abdulla spent time on loan with Dagenham in January, making six appearances in the middle of the Daggers midfield.
Speaking to the club website Still said he was delighted to have brought the youngster back to Victoria Road.
“We've signed Ahmed Abdulla who spent a little bit of time here on loan from West Ham, during his spell here he showed that he was a very accomplished player; he impressed every member of staff with his passing and his commitment.
“Since he returned to West Ham we've been speaking to him and we've now signed him on a short term deal until the end of the season. I'm delighted to have him and with the injuries to Peter, Kevin & Luke Howell I think he's the right addition for us.
“Because as I say he's been here, he knows what we do, he knows how we do it and I'm sure he'll do well between now and the end of the season."
