Robert Green kept a clean sheet as Roy Hodgson's England reign got off to a winning start with a 1-0 victory in Norway tonight.
The West Ham keeper played the full 90 minutes in Oslo as England's preparations for Euro 2012 got off to a successful start thanks to what turned out to be the decisive goal from Manchester United's Ashley Young in the ninth minute.
Tottenham's Scott Parker also started but was replaced by Arsenal's Theo Walcott in the 56th minute.
