West Ham United have completed the signing of Mali striker Modibo Maiga for about £5m.
The 24-year-old has left Sochaux and is believed to have agreed a four-year deal with the Hammers.
Maiga failed a medical at Newcastle United in January and went on strike at his club last year in a bid to push through a move.
Maiga netted 24 goals in 52 games for Sochaux and will be expected to help keep West Ham in the Premier League next season.
