New West Ham United signing Mohamed Diamé played 90 minutes as ten-man Senegal secured a 2-0 win over Uruguay at the London 2012 Olympic Games.
Two first-half goals from Moussa Konate either side of Abdoulaye Ba’s red card settled the match, held at Wembley Stadium.
Senegal take on UAE on Wednesday (August 1) and know if they can avoid defeat they will advance from group A into the knock-out stages.
